MANUAL HANDLIING

Manual Handling is a physical activity that takes place in every workplace. It involves the transporting or supporting of any load by means of lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling or carrying. If not performed correctly there is a high risk of injury, especially to the back. 1 in 3 workplace injuries are manual handling related. Based on the HSA guidelines, our course provides learners with the appropriate knowledge and skills to engage in safe manual handling.
